MetaTrader 5 (MT5) — Philippines
Moving to MetaTrader 5 on the same account changes how often things are done rather than what can be done: some errands the platform absorbs, and others it hands back at every order.
Open Exness Account →On the same trading account, MetaTrader 5 moves work around more than it adds abilities. Some routines get shorter: one window covers several asset classes, the release calendar is already inside it, and open positions appear on any device connected to the account. Others get longer: there are more order types to pick from and more timeframes to settle on, and both choices come round again on every order. Counting how often each decision returns is a fairer comparison than counting features.

MetaTrader 5 (MT5) at Exness
- Less often: leaving the terminal to reach a different asset class, because they are quoted in the same window.
- Less often: opening an outside release schedule, because the calendar sits inside the platform.
- Less often: checking a position on the other machine, because positions follow the account to whichever device is connected.
- More often: choosing among order types, because the pending list is longer and the choice is made on each ticket.
- More often: settling on a timeframe, because there are more of them and a single default no longer covers every chart.
- More often: reading depth before sizing, because the information is on the screen and it differs from one order to the next.
- Unchanged: the trading account behind it, the client portal in front of it, and the separate platform password between them.
The part that is done once
The terminal itself is fetched once, from the Personal Area, after you open an account. What follows is a question of rhythm, not of installation. Undecided? Run both on a free demo.
Open Exness Account →Where the platform takes the work
Anything the terminal keeps in one place removes a step that used to be repeated. A single quote window across asset classes removes the switch; a schedule inside the platform removes the second tab; positions that follow the account remove the check on the other machine. None of these are features to be used — they are errands that stop being run.
The saving is real and quiet: it shows up as fewer interruptions in an hour rather than as anything visible on the screen.
Where the platform hands it back
A longer list of order types is a decision, and a decision made on each order costs time on each order. Timeframes behave the same way: a wider choice means the default is chosen consciously, and chosen again.
Depth information joins the same list. Once it is on the screen it becomes part of the reading before an order, and that reading is repeated for the next one.
Deciding whether the swap is worth it
- Count the times in a typical session you switch away from the terminal — that is the part the newer platform absorbs.
- Count the decisions you make on each order today — that is the part it lengthens.
- Connect both terminals to the same account for a week before moving anything; the account does not care which one is attached.
- Rebuild the layout deliberately instead of importing habits, because a wider choice of timeframes changes what a default is worth.
Both terminals connect to the same trading account, so none of this requires opening another one.
Same account, different rhythm
| Errand | On MT5 | Who carries it |
|---|---|---|
| Reaching a different asset class | Less often — quoted in the same window | The platform |
| Checking the release schedule | Less often — the calendar is built in | The platform |
| Picking positions up on another device | Less often — they follow the account | The platform |
| Choosing an order type | More often — the pending list is longer | The trader, on each ticket |
| Settling on a timeframe | More often — more of them to choose from | The trader, on each chart |
| Reading depth before sizing | More often — the information is present | The trader, on each order |
The account, the client portal and the separate platform password behave the same way on either terminal.

Reviews
Traders on what the platform keeps and what it asks for again:
Screen flickering. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly. However, occasionally, when zooming in on a chart, it abruptly reverts to its original position. This behavior poses challenges when setting stop-loss and target orders. Kindly provide assistance in resolving this issue
So far so good, the UI is much better than all other mobile apps, but the only problem is the chart does not show candles in the weekly time frame, which is so frustrating.
many times freezes specially when market opens after closure !! and it doesn't allow to close orders in the last 10 mins of trade
Very nice user interface and quite easy to use and understand .
